DESCRIPTION
LUMINAE nasce da un’idea semplice: trasformare la luce in materia.
Dopo oltre venticinque anni dedicati alla realizzazione di vasi in colombino, ho sentito il desiderio di creare un oggetto capace di dialogare ancora più intimamente con gli spazi domestici.
Una lampada non illumina soltanto una stanza. Cambia l’atmosfera. Accompagna i momenti più silenziosi della giornata e rende una casa personale.
Per questo ho scelto di utilizzare la stessa tecnica che impiego da sempre: il colombino. Ogni base viene costruita lentamente, anello dopo anello, lasciando che la mano racconti il tempo impiegato per realizzarla.
Le superfici conservano le tracce del gesto, mentre la luce ne esalta rilievi, pennellate e trasparenze, rendendo ogni pezzo diverso dall’altro.
Ogni lampada è un piccolo paesaggio mediterraneo che continua a vivere anche quando il sole tramonta.
